I installed a new WD5000SRL SATA II and now theres no display on my monitor when i turn my computer on. when i turn it on the hard drive speeds up and the Disk indicator flickers and makes noise like its working right, but theres no monitor display? whats wrong?

tried connecting the old HD that had display. same problem. maybe something wrong with the graphics card?

Two options in this mater. One you have a graphic card problem, or two you have a memeory problem. May time when changing out material this can happen. Try to reset the memory and graphic card. If this does not help them you will need to change one or the other of them.
Hope this will help. Does not sound like a HDD problem sounds more like hardware problem in your mother board.

What do you mean by saying "no display on the monitor"?
No post information or no windows information or noting at all?
