I'd say it seems pretty irresponsible to be advertising a data recovery business before you know anything about data recovery.

If you are able to make a web site to state services you can not even yet perform then looks like you are able to use google on this one too. Google will give you the information you are looking for or a search here on this forum will do the same. You can search here and find out what other are talking about and useing and recommending to use in this line of work. Do some research on this one becasue in the end you will need it. Answers do not come easy in this line of work and sometime they do not come at all. You are not going to find anyone to hand you information for free and you will need to do a lot of work and research to find what you want and need. I would really consider taking your web site off line until you are sucessful in recovering some drives that do not belong to others and then you can go from there

This kind of 'DR specialists' are the worst... Stating many things on their web page, knowing nothing about recovery and opening up drives and spoiling their clean area...
And the potential customers cannot tell before their drives are ruined...
This is not a fair business attitude, this is called deceiving customers.
Sorry to be so hard, but I see many tampered drives here having been to some companies with nice web page but few idea about DR...

A DR business just cannot be built on a technician who received a few days training somewhere.
To learn DR takes years and U really have to be intuitive and creative minded to achieve a good level.
Of course each one of us is learning each day, but that is another story... U have to be aware of your abilities to avoid killing customer drives.

I agree with you pepe, i have seen many drives recently with tampered drives, some with finger prints all over the platters.

Some claimed that they have learnt from the internet and from this forum. It just makes me wonder if DIY might have caused a lot of headache to us.

I have started my own doctors practise. I do not have any education but I quess I can google some tips and talk a couple hours to some real doctor. One can buy some nice diplomas from Internet and thats it, right? I will give treatmet to people very cheaply since no useless money and time is spent for overrated education or training.

I allready (maybe a bit too soon) started web page and rented an office for this purpose. Can somebody please tell me soon how to cure all kind of deceases people normally have. I think I will need some tools too. Please tell me what to buy and how to get them cheap. Lower quality is OK.

Am I in right forum?? Hard Disk is located in mans backbone, right?

Help me please soon.

Oh. I was earlier in Data Recovery bussiness but I heard that Doctors make more money.... and here is a usefull page for you about hardware equipment used by a very professional Data Recovery company in Taiwan. http://www.linwei.com.tw/en/equipment.html It is good to have all of them. With these ones you can copy data from allmost any drive with not much knowledge of the Hard Disks. They may be slightly difficult to get though. Good luck in getting them. I saw some of them for sale in e-bay just yesterday.

What is your obsession with linwei.com? I have seen multiple of your posts now where you mention this. Previous topic you do not seem very positive about them, now you praise them? :?

There is only one post beside this one... I do not know anything else about that company but I just feel that nanggroe should get him self at least a Servo Track Writer. It is very handy tool to write servo labels to platters. And it is one of the best tools for marketing.

I have been in this line of bussiness for 14 years now and I have seen picture of one on many successfull companies web pages (like Ontrack, Ibas etc) and they are all turned out to be succsesfull in their bussiness. So I highly recommend to get one.

I kind of changed my mind of the company since I got sooo smart reply to my other post. Some people on this forum knows so much about things.

Would anybody know what "that doesnt means u will beput all bad disks wich u get on there" could possible mean?

Thanks a lot theone... I see many people don't happy with my post here, so sorry for that.
I m learning how to do DR by my self, for starting I just recover data from logical problems and we can say I have been many times successfully doing that, and during the time a get more experience from many hdds, memory card, and CDs problems I get from friends. Now I am thinking of having Disk Imager Hardware to gain my experience to the next level.
It is learning by doing...

there a lot to learn in data recovery sometime its easy and sometimes it will make you go bald

people use software for recovery for logical problems
but this can allso lead to the software destroying the information.

first thing you invest in is a write blocker
so the hard drive
which is faulty can not write to it.

the next option is

buy some books on the basic of recovery work.

practice

buy a cooling fan to keep the drive cool
when working on them.

the other is you need lots of money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
