Thank you for your answer einstein9 but check the number of the pin on my picture and on your ebay auction.
This is not the same. See my new picture. On the left, this is a ZIF adapter to PATA, in the middle, a compatible cable for my HDD and on the right, this is my HDD.

Hi
If these are from MacBook air and is the samsung drive these drives are actually a sat drive
You will require a sata to zif adaptor
I am currently trying to source some but have had no luck
They are quite rare these drives which is making it difficult to obtain
I did find an article on how to build an adaptor but don't have the link with me
However if you google the model of the drive, Mac book air and sata adaptor you should find the link
I will try and post it in the next few days
If you make progress please let me know

Hi
We just had one of these nightmare drives.
It's a LIF-connector -
not a ZIF - It only has 24 ribbons in the cable. But it’s just a SATA connector wired differently (and some power /ground) … at least that’s what I could get out of google and
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=657341(Been told there exist a small-LIF as well with an even smaller FCC-ribbon).
We haven't been able to find an adapter to SATA - but there is an usb adapter, (thank you to the guys at Data Clinic)
http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/SPD/runcore-1-8--sata-lif-usb-2-0-hdd-ssd-enclosure--80000D7A-1270043844.jspBut then again... a usb connection is far from optimal, if there is some kind of damage - guessing you can grab the SATA data stream from within the usb-adapter - if you do find a way... please upload the schematics;)
Best of luck

SATA requires 2x TX and 2x RX wires, plus ground.
If you can upload a detailed view of both sides of the PCB, then it should be very easy to identify the signal pairs.
