May 19th, 2014, 7:55

I need your help !
I'm trying, through a program called HDDHACKR, to change the data for several wd hdd, how s / n, model and firmware version. I have problems with "model", because once flashed the changes, this string is cut to a maximum of 18 characters. Why?
Sorry for my English .

The model number should occupy 40 bytes.

HddHackr — how it modifies a Western Digital drive for use in an Xbox 360:

You can select your own parameters by modifying a HDDSS.BIN file and using HDDHackr to make the changes to your drive:

DO NOT apply a foreign UNDO.BIN file to your drive, not even one from the same model.

@rosdade, if you show me your original UNDO.BIN file, I can edit it for you and you can then write this edited version back to your drive. That should be safe to do.

Yes, I have a clean backup of the security sector of the hard disk! I've tried to edit that file, the checksum also calculated, but nothing, max 21 characters for the string "model".s / n and firmware version successfully changed!
@Fzabkar tomorrow I'll send you the file Undo.Bin clean and modified by me. Meanwhile, thanks to the support
