Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a replacement PCB for a Hitachi 1tb drive from Jun-2009
It got damaged after it was connected to the wrong poweradapter (19v laptopadapter instead of the external Lacie one)
The identification tags are:
P/N: 0A38016
MLC: BA3120
Not sure what else is important but the number on the pcb sticker is:
0A29987
BA3129
MzB917
C2V4
Thanks in advance for your response.
If there might be further damage with these drives when connected badly I would appreciate your thoughts.
Regards,
Alwin

These drives also require a NVRAM transfer when you replace the PCB.

Thanks for the heads up, i have read up on the Hitachi drives and learned that this NVRAM transferring is indeed needed. I'm not sure which of the two 8 legged chips near the memory module i should transfer though.
One is an "Eeprom" chip
the other a "Serial flash" chip
(according to google)
I guess both can store information potentially critical.. Should i just transfer both or just one of them?

Via DM I have now learned that the Eeprom chip (93c86wp) should be transferred. (thanks to chipmunk)
I have an option on a PCB with a partial match on the first two lines of the PCB stickercode, how binding is matching this stickercode?
