600USD shipping :shock:

Are you sure that's just shipping, not duty/tax as well?

I've never paid anywhere near that for shipping from Deepspar, and I've orderd a few!!

I think if you add shipping cost + import taxes / duties, it would come to an amount around that money (even then it sounds too much). But if i'm not mistaken, import taxes etc are refundable, no?

Unless things changed and to the best of my knowledge, DeepSpar includes worldwide shipping in their price.

@raven4d

The mentioned 19% is the VAT (valued added tax) in Germany - and is infact an end
consumer tax.

Everybody importing from outside of EU has to pay that (the percentage depends on
the country) when receiving the shipment - but a company is eligible to deduct the
same amount from the tax payments for the same month.

Additionally there might be a small fee for handling and customs clearance.

This procedure is the same for all EU countries - just the VAT percentage differs.

(If someone argues about the 19% its not for a company.)
