Couple of things:
1) "Does not start" means exactly what?
2) "Need a replacement" means what?

Hi,
1) Shows no signs of "powering up"
2) A company which is repairing said "needs a donor HDD". Hence, basically I need identical HDD.
Thanks!

Thanks..
However, I need identical 07LAT0 with HCTJHNB (pics below)
They said they have tried already with similar ones. System finds a disk, but it does not represent data.
Thanks!

Chances of finding identical model and DCM are slim to none.
Since it seems you do not know much know about the donor requirements, thus the request seems to basically come from the company, it is definitely an indicator they do not know what they are doing.

Agree with Labtech, sounds like these guys don't have a clue :-
Also "system finds a disk, but does not represent data" sounds a bit strange, vague at best.

Need a replacement?

Hi,
thanks for help all.
Just to make it more clearer: There is a need for an identical HDD.

You don't need an IDENTICAL drive, like you've been told.
You need to match *some* of the things but not all.
That's why we suggest someone else to have a look at your drive.

For your own good, even if you find an identical donor let's say, chances are that your drive will still not work as there are certain adaptives that would prevent that from happening.
Spend some time on the forum here reading and you will see...
