I am a home-user and I was able to use the tool to determine I had a head failure on my personal HDD and the issue was not firmware related. I don't need it anymore since my issue is hardware related and I decided to give up.

The DFL-FRP works great and the DDL Forum has tons of info and the tech support was very helpful and fast. It has 3 years of software updates, is fully activated and I have a forum account to include as well.
