Looking to buy Salvation Data HD Doctor for Seagate

June 15th, 2016, 14:51

Yes, I really DO want to buy this tool. I've used it in the past with reasonable results (unlike the other HDD modules). I realize the general consensus on this board is negative towards SD, and I certainly understand why, but regardless, I really AM interested in buying this tool if the price is right.

Looking for the module (activated of course) with the serial interface cables, and the complete set of serial interface adapters.

Please PM me with pricing and estimated shipping costs to USA.

Thanks!

You still looking for a Seagate Hdd Doctor? Got one here I'll sell, I'm in Colorado. Reply here if you are: I'll sell for $450. Got the File Extractor too I'll sell if you are interested.

Definitely still looking, but $450 is more than I'd be willing to spend right now. I'd be willing to go $100, and I don't need the File Extractor...

Ok, I'll keep you in mind. Don't really know what the value is on this but would like to get more than $100 for it. I gotta upgrade my tools too so am hoping to recover some costs towards getting the newer equipment.

The list price for the HDD Doctor is only $550, and SD is offering 50% off right now since they're releasing their new 'all-in-one' system, which means I can buy it new for $275 and get a warranty with it, thus my $100 offer.

Yeah, so now you can buy just one system that doesn't ever work on any drive instead of buying six of them. This will save Salvation Data a lot of money on plastic shells to ship their garbage tools in.

I thought this was a discussion about items for sale, not for bashing SD products (even if they deserve it). No one who's used their products in the past denies that their tools are of little value, but why do you feel compelled to make comments here, when I'm simply trying to purchase something? What value did YOU add to this thread?
