It's this thing here for the old (really old) WD drives that relied on the top screw to position the HSA in a center position:


I've personally never found a case that needed more than a bit of careful recentering and fiddling with the top cover screw. I can't imagine paying that much money for such a tool, but I guess some guys must really struggle with this... I don't know.
