I need a PCB to recover a drive. I'll buy a whole new drive to get it if need be, as long as the details match (and I can afford it):

Drive: WD5000AAVS-00ZTB0
DCM: HHRCNT2AHB
PCB: 2061-701477-200 AB

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Sorry, but you'll need more than just the PCB. It contains adaptive data particular to the individual drive.

You'll need very specialist equipment to rebuild the data from the SA to "manufacture" a new compatible PCB, which costs $1000's.

On this occasion you'll need pro help, which shoudn't cost too much at this stage.

Only swap PCB is not enough, you need a special equipment to read and re-write Rom program.

Find a pro near you would be helpful.

I just wanted to leave a public note of thanks to hddmania. It's taken me awhile to save up the funds to have this problem fixed, but hddmania has been wonderful, providing excellent advice and affordable recovery.

Thanks, hddmania! I hope I never need you again, but it's nice to know whom to turn to when I do.
