I hate to destroy your day for you or your hour of glory but you will never make it to do this one on your own. You will for sure lose all that you want to back up and save. Further if you have opeend this drive then you sure are in trouble on this one. You need a clean room, tool, and knowledge to move heads on a WD. Have you not heard that WD is a pita for head swaps and here DR techs are still fighting with a solution on this one. There is some head alignment tools on the market now for sale but if you do not understand how this drive works you are throwing your money away on this one. If your data is really really important to you then I would advise you to stop now and go to a DR shop and do this one. Then you can get back all your data and have it there for you. I am sure if you do this one on your own you can say bye bye to all your data. Sorry
