A "recovery guy" that doesn't have such a common part in stock, or able to easily get one?
Hmmm

Am able to find a couple of them but the model number refers to WD2500BEVT-22A23T0 instead WD2500BEVT-00A23T0
will this work?

If the DCM is what it should be, it should work.

The "22" vs the "00" is of no concern.

IF 22 vs 00 is of no concern..then I should try my luck with 22A23T0..what do you think.
The recovery team told me that its the 00 and 22 refers to the firmware version and it should match..is it realistic

If they think that, then they are no "recovery team" at all

Agreed. We just told you the 22 vs 00 is of no importance in this matter.
If the "recovery team" insists, well, then...

I strongly suggest you choose another "recovery team" if you value your data at all.
