I have a board for the 40GB model in the same series as your 30GB drive. I'm not sure how much a difference the capacity makes. If you care to post pics of the board you are replacing, I can tell you how close it matches.

PCB I have, but not this f/w version.

If you have PC3000 you can read and write the ROM to make it compatible.
