Hi,
I'm looking for a PCB for a Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 300 GB, P/N 9Y7284-301, Firmware 3.02.
I located a close match but it had a later firmware version.
Thanks,
GeekLady

Thank YOU, I appreciate the responses. The sticker on the PCB has 100335769 G 7533zb2d
The largest chip has a series of numbers, looks like ST E 100328754 84387A2 vq33drp AA2a3 twn 99 501
Second largest chip: Samsung 501 K4S641632H-UC60 and in tiny print too small for these eyes S6416 ZHW663gdn
Thanks again,
L

What are the symptoms of your bad drive? PCB might not be the answer.

Here's a photo. I can try it without the flash and see if it comes out better.
The drive was in a PC I assembled, ran for maybe 3 years, when I powered down it would not restart and the BIOS was indicating that there was no disk found. The HD was hot to the touch. I tried installing it in another working PC, but its BIOS would also not recognize the drive. And I tried an external USB drive enclosure - same results. It never made the clacking noise. Doesn't spin. There is the slightest hum or buzzing noise, very faint.

If your drive is buzzing or humming, your motor may be seized or heads stuck to the motor... Either way, you may have a physically damaged hard drive.

You might have a seized drive, but heads do not stick to a motor or a platter/s on those models. Most likely platters spin at a higher speed from average, which causes a temperature to rise above normal. Have it checked by a data recovery pro. to diagnose exact problem if you care about your data....
