Hi All, I accidentally plugged in the power cable of another external casing into mine and seems like the 12v came though the ground and my drive is completely dead now!!  I'm hoping a logic board replacement would fix it and hope it hasn't done any permanent damage to my data. Hello, Unfortunately the pcb replace will not help you out. You need to transfer the ROM content as well from the damaged board to the new one. Janos |
