Hi All,

I accidentally plugged in the power cable of another external casing into mine and seems like the 12v came though the ground and my drive is completely dead now!!
I'm hoping a logic board replacement would fix it and hope it hasn't done any permanent damage to my data.

I'm looking for a logic board of this model:

DMS: HSBANTJCA
Date: 20-OCT-2005
Logic Board nos: 2061-701335-A00 AH XW 2Q31 L1T5 7 0003160 6163

Unfortunately the pcb replace will not help you out.
You need to transfer the ROM content as well from the damaged board to the new one.
