Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm searching for a board for a Hitachi Deskstar with a P/N 13G0254 and a date of May - 2005. Thanks for any help!

A few more things. Printed on back next to sata connector is "assembly made in Malaysia". There is a big Infineon chip on the board. 0A29243 BA 1327 Xzx5161DCR is stamped in on the left bottom corner of the drive on top of the power adapter. Also stamped on the board is F 13G0208 01

Hi,
Would you like to send a high quality picture of front side of your PCB to my hotmail so that we could match what you need?
Thanks
Eric

I don't want to spend more than $10 bucks on a board, I am just hoping that someone has a junked drive with a good board that they are wanting to sell for cheap. I already got the data off I just hate to throw the drive away.

Probably not going to happen.
Looks like your SATA plug is broken, if that's the only problem I'd recommend modifying a SATA cable by jamming some paper or something in the end to make contact. Replacing the PCB is not really a feasible solution, especially in your price range.

Yep that's what happened. I wish I didn't throw away the plastic part I could probably have hot glued the connector. I was hoping to find a cheap board. I guess I will just punt and buy a new drive. I can sell this one for parts!
Thanks!

I got an email back from Eric Lee saying they can sell a board for $9 USD plus shipping, but I was told I need to remove the bios from this board and re-solder it to the donor board. Why would this be necessary, shouldn't the new board work if it's off the same drive and same part number?
