Hi All,

I'm looking to PCB swap my Hitachi Travelstar laptop drive:

Model:
HTS428040F9AT00

A/A0A2 A/A

CYL16383- H16 S63

9LHHA358K466

I don't know what all those numbers are, but I'll take a photo and attach it when I get home.

Thanks,
Chris

Hello,

Thanks Eric, the PCB arrived today. I was surprised how quickly it got here. Unfortunately the board swap isn't working for me. I'll post in the main forum my results and see if anyone has some suggestions.

Chris

Hi, Chris,

It's my pleasure, and pls note that the PCB was tested in good working condition by our engineer before we shiped them out.

So I think the pronlem of your HDD was not from you PCB. Pls post more informations here to see if someone or some pro can help you out.

Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric! I'm sure the PCB is / was in good working order when it left. Based on some of the markings on the IC chips, I think there is still a firmware mismatch. IC5 on my PCB is "MC62" and IC5 on the replacement you sent is "MC60" I think I need a board where IC5 is "MC62" ..

Thanks,
Chris
