Hi,

I am searching for a vendor being able to deliver a PCB with the following details:

Western Digital WD1600JS
P/N: WD1600JS-00NCB1
DATE: 02 JUL 2006 (Product of Thailand)
DCM: HSCACT2AA
PCB White Sticker: 2061-701335-B00 AJ (XC 2V17 13XJ 8 0001480 6481)
PCB Printed: 2060-701335-005 REV A

Newbie Warning: I am not able to swap any chips, so are there any chances to receive a 100% identical PCB? Service in North Europe (espc. England or Germany) would be also welcome.

Best regards
Hamburg79

Hum... I don't think you can find the exact match on this model. There might be a slight chance but I don't know how many PCBs you have to buy before you can find the magic PCB.

Try contacting PCIMAGE on this forum, he is in England and his price should be a reasonable one. BlackSt in Italy and NC in Hangary. Zebong should be another good one! If you don't mind sending it to US, then PM me for the detail.

Hi hddmania,

thank you for the quick answer. I'll try to contact PCImage first - thank you for the hint.

Just a follow-up: In the meantime I send the drive to PCImage UK (last week). Sean was very kind and provided great support. He was able to recover all of the data in no time! It was not just the PCB that burnt but also some damaged sectors - so the decision to let him recover the data was right!

He charged a very very fair price and I can recommend him without any restriction!

@hddimage: Thank you for pointing me to PCImage!

@Sean: Thank you very much again!

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Cheers,

Hamburg79
