Not sure what happened I was playing a game on my ps3 then notice it was saying it was a eft problem with the drive I have had these things in the past so just ignored it rebooted the comp and kept playing on the ps3 it came up again so I said to myself I will deal with it tomorrow...

Woke up the next day hd is dead.

I should of backed up everything but was to lazy and decided to wait now I Dont even remember what is on here. I know I have some videos and stuff but not sure if it is important. As you guys know no one cares about my story just thought I would put it up.

The dcm on this one It is like 2 letters off at the end.

I believe I read to just take the u12 chip off then put it on the new one. I suck at soldering. I know its the pcb board. The new one I put on from the spare hd on it spun up just wouldnt recognize in xp.
