This is unusually big burn on a controller chip.
Big chance of Processor damage and a preamp damage.

hi,
i have this PCB in stock and could help you program firmware into PCB. as just swap PCB won't help any more. had to program firmware into PCB matching with firmware which stock in platters. i guess head and MCU(PCB processor) are fine.

Same burn on the same chip of the same board WD10EADS-0L5B1 (2061-701590-J00 AA)
I read this can be replaced?
I own an empty WD10EADS-22M2B0 (2061-701640-202 04PD2), can I swap boards?

Thanks in advance
