Hi everyone...I am looking for the controlling board of a wd5000aaks-00TMA0 Date:09 Mar 2007 DCM:HANCHV2AAB

My 500 gig drive has died on me and I need to retrieve the data. It's one of two 500gig drives in a 1TB My Book and I can't access either drive 'cause one of the logic boards is fried.

I hope someone can help me on this thanks..

Do you have PC3000 or SalvationData tools to reprogram the new PCB?

You WILL need to do this, as the PCB's contain adaptive data in the ROM.
