dead after the laptop fell off the desk.. past away with heads clicking.... i put another pcb with another firmware , the hdd run normal and silent but the BIOS don't see it! |

The reason that the replacement board behaves differently is that it has unique, drive specific, calibration data stored in EEPROM. You need to transfer these "adaptive" data from patient to donor. |
