Hi fellow mates,
I am looking for a 2nd hand full HDD replica of WD 10EAVS-00D7B0 GreenPower (mine is dated 19 JUL 2008)
Through unexpected circumstances at home my kids have put a plug with higher voltage into the concerning HDD with a burnt PCB as consequence. Directly afterwards it did smell to something like ink and a small thick smoke came out of it. An acquaintance of mine did open the HDD, took the PCB of it and saw small light brown/black tracks on the PCB which turns out it has been burnt if I am correct.
He advised me now to swap the PCB with an identical one to access the data which should still be intact he is expecting.
So have been searching for a new identical PCB crazily throughout the Internet but without satisfying result sofar. This Hard Drive Market forum is my last hope....
Could you help me to provide me with an identical PCB like attached below to swap the defect one with? Or tell me where I could get it. Regretably there are a lot of private pictures stored on it (amongst others of the honeymoon + marriage plus grown-up process in years of my 2 kids).
We would very much like to have the data restored asap and to make backups
The burnt PCB does have the following serial number: 2060-701537-004 REV A and on the sticker the following barcode shows this number: 2061-701537-Q00AD XC 6P08 1AD8 9 0007030 9037 (see also attached pictures).
Your help is much appreciated,
A. Manders.
