Hi i am searching for a Western-Digital hard drive with following technical data.

WD5000KS Caviar SE16

MDL: WD5000KS-00MNB0
Date: 12.Nov.2006
DCM: HCACAJAHB
Product of Thailand

The drive had a head crash and i want to change the heads (in a clean room from a data recovery company)
Of course I'll pay money for the hard drive.

Yours sincerely
utgmk

Once I saved my data from the hard disk, I put the disk as a spare parts store (if anyone needs the PCB)

I have send you an email.

Regarding your question. I can not tell you exactly.
I was at a data recovery company and they told me that there is a head crash. The company can help me but this very expensive (600-1200 €) ($800 - $1600). They said that it will be cheaper if I could get an identical hard drive. I am a student, so I do not have much money.

Which specifications does your hard drive have? And how much does it cost?

Sorry for my bad english.

Yours sincerely

In my opinion you would be better served using a company that doesn't have to ask you to locate donors... try dobrevjetser from this forum, located in Belgium, or pepe, located in Hungary
