I have same HDD and has crashed suddenly. From what I've studied it seems that there is a problem with overheating. Now I need to recover data on it. Any help is welcome. |

@sebim: For the type of help you are requesting, you are in the wrong part of this web forum If you want suggestions about recovery help, then you should start a new thread in the section here: hard-disk-drives-data-recovery-and-repair-f1.html FYI, when you start that new thread in the section above, you will need to give much more detail before anyone will be able to help you - for example: - What exactly do you mean by "crashed"? Do not try to guess what has happened inside the disk and do not use "web jargon" - just describe the situation clearly and accurately. What symptoms do you see, exactly? What happened just before "the problem" started - anything unusual? - Is this an internal or external drive? - Any unusual smell or noises from the drive? - Why do you believe that overheating is involved? You say that you have "studied" this, so please provide a link to the website(s) where you have seen this information and explain why you think those websites apply to your situation. As I said before - you should not continue in this thread, because you are not buying/selling disk parts. Instead, if you want assistance related to recovery, start a new thread in the forum which I linked above. If you supply enough detail in that new thread, then perhaps you will receive some advice/suggestions. |
