Do you still have this? If so is it the one with the blue circles or the one with the solid white vertical line? Thanks in advance.

Im an idiot, I just reread the post and saw the Model # above. Did some research and saw that it was the dual bay vertical white light version. How much (shipped) do you want the enclosure for? Zipcode 96701 and USPS priority mail would probably be the best route as I am in Hawaii. Thank you in advance and I am glad to see that I got a response as quickly as I did.

No need, i re-read the initial post and decided to look up the Model#. Turns out its the vertical white light one i've been looking for. How much (shipped) do you want this item for? I live in Hawaii so the best means of shipping would be USPS priority mail to 96701.

You are absolutely right. I have a single bay 2TB that I have the modified boot FW on and its nice. Having said that its still unreliable b/c its ONE disk and not the redundant two for just in case purposes.

It weighs 3 lbs, probably 4 with packaging. I can box it up (probably around 15x15x15") and take it down to the post office and get a confirmed price and let you know, if you can make a solid offer. But I would guess it'd be anywhere from $15 to $30 to ship, don't know but feel free to double check based on that info. I may be able to send it out Saturday, Monday at the latest.

Hi,

I think there may be something wrong with your file system.
But that has to be analyzed at a low level, and that's a task that should be done by a DR company with some experience.

If you use a medium USPS "Flat Rate Box" it shouldnt be more than $15-$20 to ship, maybe less. I also do not want to low ball you, so how does $50-$65 shipped sound? If this seems unfair please let me know, again I do not want to insult. Also, I forgot to ask you, does it operate (aside from the missing drives)? Why are you selling it, if you dont mind me asking? Thanks again.

I agree with dellguy... quite random. Also the OP has the HDDs removed... how can there be something wrong with the non-existant file system?

Hmmm, checking sizes, that narrowest dimension on the flat rate boxes is the problem. The drive packaging itself is 7.5 x 8.5 x 8.5". I'd recommend at least 3 inches of bubble wrap on all sides in a larger container. I'll box it up on Monday and get it priced, but I think we're in the ballpark. Plus, I'd prefer it was used. :D Yes, it works, just not 100% accessible to Apple's Time Machine's hourly backups for some reason.

Drinkster,

Sounds great. Either way, I'd be happy to pay for the shipping. My big thing is having redundancy to cover for drive failures. Usually a NAS with mulitple drives will cost $200-$300 without drives. Not only that but its a psuedo accomplishment to bring it back to life. :D Just let me know how much it will cost to ship and we can come to an agreement on final price.
