Just wondering if there are any issues with alignment on these drives, I have a drive in at the moment with, IMVHO, what appears to be stiction or seized spindle. Customer had a power cut so am hoping stiction. TIA Logical. |

Very rare for these to have seized spindle. Most possibly stiction. Regarding alignment issues, if you mean the head alignment issues of older WD and the likes, then no, this drive does not have such problems. But they're very sensitive to platter alignment. |
