What is the problem with the drive? There is more to reprogramming a donor than just owning PC3000. |

The drive is not recognized in bios or DDI. It makes a few quiet clicks and powers off. I would like to swap the PCB with a donor PCB as my first step, but I cannot swap the rom because its stored on the processor on the board. |

What does your Scott Moulton distance learning guide say to do in these circumstances? what-certification-scott-moulton-offering-his-course-t19566.html#p131586 |

Stay on the topic. Either you can help me or not. I'm looking to outsource pcb rom swap since I don't have the tools to do it. |

The PCB turned out to be ok. I replaced the head assembly with my donor drive and now the DDI is imaging it. Thanks for the input, I would have thought it was the PCB! |
