I've got a friend who is a tool and die maker and is working to design a new set of platter exchangers for my lab. I've bought the other overpriced "professional" garbage and they're terrible. I'm having him base the design on the worst modern Seagate drive that I could find.
What I'm trying to get a feel for is how many people would be interested in buying a set, and what you are willing to pay for a good set of exchangers. That way we'll know how many to build when we start production.
Any input is appreciated.
