Hi brand new to forum, I'm seeking this exact hard drive for hard drive recovery. The business trying to get my data back can't source one and have given up and told me its not possible unless I can source another drive with the exact model WD20EARX-00ZUDB0 its a western digital caviar green 2tb.

Can anyone here know or have this drive and willing to sell to help me out?

I'm available for a response via this thread or contact me directly at Robert.Lang.1979@gmail.com

Regards,

More info: The data recovery shop say they need the heads inside the disk

the DCM number that I need matched is HARCHT2ABB

From what I can gather, if the model doesnt quite match but the DCM is the same I may be able to get away with it.

all details on the drive that failed are:

MDL: WD20EARX-00ZUDB0
WWN: 50014EE25859C4D0
DATE: 03 JUL 2011
DCM: HARCHT2ABB
DCX: 3Z09U0SD1

If anyone gets a match please let me know thanks,

Robert

For head replacement on this series DCM is not important. Also, should be relatively simple to find a donor part, though may be expensive.

Which DR shop has your disk?

At this stage I would recommend getting your HDD returned and sending somewhere else where I am sure the result will be different...
