Looking for a replacement PCB for a Seagate FreePlay ST1000LM010 hard drive PN 9YH146-550, FW CC9E. PCB IC LSI 866508 SEAGATE 1039T TPP3K923 23MM001FQHF 8AM391CT. Small chip 980 L SH6966 A 07A1XLID. Anyone? |

I have seen those listings but this drive has FW CC9E, I am assuming the FW should match. Is that incorrect? |

You WILL need to transfer the ROM chip, it is absolutely UNIQUE to the drive, even the S/N of the drive is programmed into this ROM! |

Negative. f/w doesn't matter. Match the 100******* . then transfer the ROM Edit: Sean beat me to it. |
