Have Seagate ST31500341AS

This drive failed.. Turned off the PC in the evening, the next morning.. Click of death.

drive spins up, clicks for about 15 seconds, then spins down. It is recognized by the PC's bios.

SN: 9VS17Q2H
Model: ST31500341AS
PN: 9JU138-302
Firmware: CC1H

If anyone wants it for parts, let me know. (what is it worth?)

USA shipment only.

I am not a professional.. Just a hobbiest. I have done nothing to the drive except remove the PCB, clean the contacts that engage the spindle motor and the head stack, and put it back together. I did not open the drive.

Only thing that you will be able to use is the PCB ..

A good sign that this person is not qualified to do a head change.
