I have a heads swap to do on MQ01ABC100, they are very expensive. Does anyone knows an alternative model that could be used.
Will also like to know if i could use the MQ01ABC150(1.5 TB) version, which are slightly cheaper.

I think the 1.5tb version is a 3-platter 6-head drive, as opposed to 2-platter 4-heads in the 1tb version. So no.

Thanks pcimage for the reply.
You are right, the 1 TB drive has 2 platters.
I will keep searching for an affordable priced one but if anyone has 1 for sale in the region of 50 Euros?

MQ01ABC100 - Has anyone got 1 for sale? Even if it is used drive.
