I think you are asking a little high then for a used unit. I picked one up recently along with the USB add-on for less than you're asking.

Is the firmware even up to date at least?

Given that DDI 4 brand new is only $3,350 and would have the updated FW ($350 value) I think you'll need to come down a bit on the price. You're hardly even discounting it for the fact that it isn't new.

I thought I read that DeepSpar will not even repair a used unit if it has a problem.

That is their official policy. But, it all depends on how much they like you in the end. If you're a customer who's made multiple purchases from them already, they might "bend" the rule. Still is a factor that devalues a used unit.

Like I said , price is negotiable , still waiting for best offer .

Brother if we have pc3k+de do you still thing deepspar is needed .i still have vacancy of two imagers in office currently i am using 1 unit pc3k + 2 units mrt + 1 unit dfl .

I have 8 channels between 3 PC3K systems and still use 5 DeepSpar Disk Imagers. However, I don't think I could survive without the network and USB add-ons.
