I'm surprised that you "upgraded" from DFL-SRP to PCIe-4x, because according to Mr Stanley from Dolphin.Data.Lab:

DFL-SRP USB3.0 and DFL PCIe 4x support the following same software modules with same functions, the only difference is on the hardware, SRP is USB3.0 portable design, three ports, can be used with both desktop and laptop, PCIe 4x can only be installed on desktop pc but PCIe has 4 ports.

Dolphin.Data.Lab also tell the speed between the PCIe-4x and DFL-SRP USB 3.0 is alsmost the same.

So, did you "upgraded" to the PCIe-4x equipement only for an extra SATA port?

2 x SATA + 1 x IDE for DFL-SRP
3 x SATA + 1 x IDE for DFL-PCIe

Are there any other reason why PCIe-4x would be better than DFL-SRP USB 3.0 ?
