Swabs to the rescue once again this week!
3Tb WD diablo drive, nasty scratching noises and spin down.....
Took heads out and examined under the microscope, top head dirty....
Cleaned with magic swab and 99.99% IPA and put them back in...
100% clone!!!

Sean ,
I have been cleaning my heads with a 000 brush made with plastic fibre and trying to find if i can find something better like a hog hair brush etc .The Swap you are selling are you using it specially for cleaning heads ? . I am also interested in knowing if you can suggest me a basic swap that is not cotton and does not leave lint behind ,I use this to clean the linings of the HDA were the top cover rubber seal goes helps me maintain a good clean drive .I am Also Interested to Find any Information Of a Small Dia Swap That Can Go All The Way Around And Under The Corners of HDD's That Have The Max Dirt
PS : Depending On Your Suggestion i can Buy A Pack

They are not specifically for hard drives, but they are by far the best I have come across.
I was initially told about them by jono-ats so he deserves credit for finding them originally

BuyPT doesn't mention anything about it, but Fisher Scientific
claims the HT1509C500 has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
