I don't know of any supplier who includes a ROM transfer. In any case, can you show us the other side of the board, just in case the damage is not confined to the board? |

It appears that someone has resoldered (?) the "ROM" at U12. Are you sure it hasn't been damaged? If you have a multimeter, measure the voltages between ground and each of L1, L2 and D2 (above the SMOOTH chip). Use a screw hole as your ground reference. Also check the TVS diodes. thank you guys for youre response. the rom is fine, i wanted to do it but stopped it, there's no damage. i will send it to the canadian supplier! thanks ghost |
