For some of you maybe interesting that we develop and maked universal adapter for MediaTEk 6261DA CPU which can read embeded NOR memory directly from chip. As you know there are no I2C, SPI for those so communication need to goes over USB protocol. Few weeks ago we have also finished next project - for Speadstrum SC 6531E which also got embemded NOR. Using adapters are helpfull when your board is comepletly demaged - instead of making SWAP SoC into new board you need put chip to reader and connect to USB.

MT NOR Adapter for MediaTek 6261DA SoC is a programmer in the form of a USB key that allows access to data contained in the internal NOR memory embedded in MediaTEK (MTK) 6261DA SoC. These processors (SoC) are most often found in budget phones, the so-called Features phones like Nokia 106 TA 1114, Nokia 108 RM 944, Nokia 105-2 RM 1133, Nokia 105 TA 1034 as well as many smartwatches. Due to the lack of an SPI or I2C access protocol, the only possibility of accessing the data after a device failure (e.g. breaking the motherboard to prevent access) was to perform a chip SWAP to a functional device. Our adapter revolutionizes data recovery from such cases - just after ChipOFF, place the processor in the adapter and connect the adapter to the USB to enable data reading.




Features:

- physical reading of NOR memory directly from ALL processors based on MTK 6261DA (e.g. damaged devices) regardless of the manufacturer

- reading deleted Messages, Lists of calls made, Contacts using appropriate investigative software (e.g. Cellebrite UFED, MSAB XRY)

- making a full flash copy in order to transfer the content to another device of the same type (duplicate) using e.g. Infinity CM2 or BB5 Best

- programming of empty processors directly in the adapter without having to allocate the chip in the decel device



NOTE: To perform the reading, appropriate software is required that allows communication with the MTK loader in BROM mode

These processors (SoC) are most often found in budget phones, the so-called Features phones like Nokia 105 (2019) TA-1174, as well as many smartwatches. Due to the lack of an SPI or I2C access protocol, the only possibility of accessing the data after a device failure (e.g. breaking the motherboard to prevent access) was to perform a chip SWAP to a functional device. Our adapter revolutionizes data recovery from such cases - just after ChipOFF, place the processor in the adapter and connect the adapter to the USB to enable data reading.

- full communication in SVC/FTM mode as well as DLOAD mode by just pressing button

Do you guys are interested in adapter for RDA 8851 - it's also got build in NOR without SPI access and its installed in bugdet China phones like Manta etc.
