This has never been used. I bought this for a former business partner with a view to adding data recovery to our list of services.
Due to serious health issues he is no longer working with me and I simply do not have the time to get to grips with such a steep learning curve given that there are nowhere near enough hours in the day already.

License was never activated? How does this work, tech support starts at day of purchase or from license activation? Can license be transferred or is blessing from Rusolut required (similar to ACE policies)? Is this their starter or extended kit?

It is the starter kit plus 3 additional adaptors purchased separately

LGA52 socket - the starter kit 152 adapter is just a PCB with landing pads.

OK so you use the serial number of the reader and password for the account to login. You then download software and the activation is automatic once you plug in the box if you are connected to the inter webs. Otherwise you do it manually by going to the activation page and submitting a webform with the unit serial number and a request file text doc with your email, unit serial number and a comment... Here is a copy/paste from the web page:

The fact that you need to use a reader for the software and you own a reader with a legit SN is all you need for activation. If you want support via Team viewer or any help using the software / hardware you pay a few hundred euros and you will have support for one year. I think this is available to purchase for as long as you need it on an annual basis.

This kit comes with extra.. YES_EXTRA_PARTS. the standard kit is in addition ADDITION to the starter kit. to be clear it is STANDARD KIT+ STARTER

I wasn't aware it is an actual abbreviation. If he had used D.U.D.E. people would be addressing him as dude I guess.

You want to be careful dealing with this guy. He sold the VNR to me last week, received my payment and did not ship.

He then told me he had a better offer BUT HAS ALREADY SPENT MY MONEY! He has promised a refund once the new payment clears, a bit beside the point, I think.

In any case, the police are getting involved.
