hello Guys i really need a donor for a very important work. customer need to get data from his passed away relative. sadly i cannot find the right donor here in japan  if someone got with closer serial, etc i would like to buy  thank you

I think there are several other models could be used for parts... no need for such a strict match. |

shubhsinghal thank you ^^ unfortunatelly i already tried 3 donors but this is F3 model! the donor specification must be almost the same! do you have experience with st8000dm004? please share with us

shubhsinghal i have a similar donor but still doesnt accept the heads. this is the pcb of the Patient

here is one of my DONOR. should be ok but unfortunatelly doesnt work since the year of production is not the same

hello guys. always happy to hear your opinion. it helps me indeed. i wish i can be positive about my donor lol. i did tried the donor heads and tried to load the LDR but it wont accept the heads lol too stubborn HDD! it make me crazy because the donor heads works fine on their original HDD its frustrating lol |

i know it can be difficult to find a head stack that performs well in all respects, so the question is how you can get it work with the donor heads you have. coz it is possible, otherwise you might search for 'compatible' donors forever. pepe |
