Code: Can you upload a detailed photo of the component side? What is the failure symptom?: I do not know about others but this is becoming a standard request from you. Even if someone tells the truth it is not possible to change the pcb on this drive you still post the same request over and over again. What is it do you just like seeing photos of a pcb board? Over 60% of your post state the same thing. If you claim you are not a DR person then why continue to request to see a photo of a pcb board. |

I have no commercial interests. If someone is requesting a PCB, it is safe to assume that they have a broken one. In order to assess the problem, I need to see the subject PCB. I'm not a DR guy, but I am proficient in the repair and troubleshooting of all manner of electronic equipment. In fact, it is my observation that the average DR guy wouldn't pass Electronics 101. I cut my teeth on hard drives when they were 250 kg monsters. I operated my own business, troubleshooting and repairing minicomputer boards and peripherals to chip level, on-site, with only basic tools and no schematics. These boards were 15" x 15", and had around 300 chips. The 3-chip PCBs that you DR guys work with are insignificant by comparison. So, yes, I don't have your particular experience, but I have relevant electronic experience nonetheless. In fact, the archives will show that I have helped several people repair their PCBs when they were ready to buy one (and then face the problem of transplanting EEPROMs). I hope that's not the reason for your annoyance. I have very little faith left in humanity, as is. |
