my drive is clicking. Hitachi deskstar it happened while i was installing a new os on another drive. During one the reboot install sequences it started clicking. no i dont have 2000 dollars to send it in for recovery, i am thinking to try and do a pcb swap and maybe i will get lucky. Trying to figure out how to read the codes on the PCB so I can order and replace. Cheers If i should try something else or if i a asking a dumb question so sorry |

the pcb code is 0A292550 BA1848 MzG650 07G4 I dont know how to tell the dcm it was made in china in Dec 2006. The MLC is BA2029 the chs is 16383/16/63 |
