When I mention "Code" I mean the bit beginning "DAC"

For example, "DAC 8328" is the code.

That is what needs to be quoted when applying for a drive.

Hi. Iam looking for a drive similar to code DAC QCD3, which matches my model # exactly, but the PN 9W2854-301 of your drive is not the same as the one being replaced, which is 9W2854-175. What's the diff? I want the drive to swap heads? Will it work?

I've simply listed the donor drives I have and I honestly don't have time to answer questions you may have regarding head maps, compatibility issues, etc.

All I can answer is the state of the drive; all those with a yellow or dark brown cell colour will need clarification.

Perhaps offering this list was not such a good idea...

Sorry to be so offish - but I cannot afford the time and effort involved in all these requests.

Most drives will be in the region of £65 plus delivery.

However, more obscure drives will be slightly more, as will current drives with a new value exceeding £65.

This is indeed a 160GB - but it's one of the "bad batch" HTS541 drives and has one bad head....
