During the identification process I have had several drives report abnormal information. On occasion it reports something different each time I try. Attachment: WD1200.JPG [ 25.75 KiB | Viewed 11497 times ] I have similar drives and identical drives that show correct information. Is there a known bug or a way to fix this? |

I see that sometimes, it's usually a bad IDE cable/connection. |

Indeed, try a new cable. That is the only time I have seen that is when a cable went bad. |

Yes it was the cable. Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe the Atola can make that part of the program. BAD CABLE flashing across the screen when it doesn't recognize the drive correctly. |

DMG Sometimes such identification can be a sign of a bad HDD PCB. This is why we haven't added something like that yet. I am not sure if there's easy way to deal with this... |
