Just wondering if Atola have any plans to either bring out a new product or an add on to help image USB drives similar to what Deepspar has?

All of our future DiskSense units will come standard with USB ports (we are currently developing a new revision). I do not have an ETA yet, but it will definitely happen this year.

It is exciting to see how far the Atola products have come in the past few years. Will the USB port have a custom built USB hardware controller, allowing for the same imaging functionality as a device with a SATA connection, or will it simply be a modification to the software to allow imaging directly from the system board's built-in USB port?

We are still deciding on how exactly we should implement USB support. We are considering both options, and the final decision will be made after we play enough with each approach.
