Maxtor Selfscan Hangs

Hi All,

Salvationdata Maxtor 6E drives hang in Surface Test 0175 for long time,

Changed group2 module,and selfscan modules 13,14,etc.with other same donor.

Can any one advice how to fix this error?

If surface is really bad there's nothing to do.

Agree.

If surface is good enough, SS should be run smoothly.
If surface have problems, you should do something manually, or simple forget this drive like an usable one, use it as donor instead.
