I think you should ask salvation for there prices new is cheaper then 1500$ for both devices .

when you buy SD tools you pay alot, when selling will loose more

chk with the lic. transfer, i think they recently changed their rules.

i got some SD tools (2nd. hand) almost 1/4 the price you mentioned with some other pcb`s and so

Its really a shame that SD can't get their $hit together and fix the simpliest of issues. I got my second hand unit for a lot less than that.
