The TVS diodes commonly go short circuit due to an overvoltage when the power supply fails.

I m talking about short circuiting two pins on the mother board of a HDD for repairing not detectable device of some thing like that.

You mean shorting the read channel.

Tip: How to identify the Read Channel test points:

So you have a 7200.12 and you want to short the read channel? If so, then use a pair of fine tipped tweezers, short the relevant test points, and then power up the drive. You can release the tweezers after you gain access.

I suggest that you cover the tweezers in heatshrink tubing to minimise the risk of damage to your PCB in the event that you drop them.
