Hi fzabkar
I will do the exchange of the 0A30502.
The donor PCB has the 0A30501...I guess it doesn't influence

How to know what requirements the donor PCB must have?
How do I find out the current firmware and what margin is there between different ones to work?.

Do not answer these questions until I have made the exchange. I will inform you. Thank you for your time and help.

I don't know if this is OK. That's an in-house Hitachi part number. The manufacturer of the IC could be Renesas, but I doubt that you will find a datasheet.

Sorry, I really don't know enough to make a decision for you.

Hello, I wish you a good year 2025.
I thought that exchanging the power chip and I could end this issue.
But there are problems that you had previously already smelled.
I exchanged the IC for another 0A30502.
I connected the patient PCB to the patient Disk with the HDA isolated connector (22 pads J2).
The motor worked, we found the lost voltages.
Later I tried it with the non-isolated HDA connector.
In this last case, the motor had 0v, the Q2 D2118 presented correct voltages. But the -3.3v was missing.
There must be some problem with the HDA J2 connector, is there any diagram to be able to check?
And how do we continue to repair the HDA J2? What is the next step to take?
Both the HDA J2 and the PCB where it connects look good.
Very Thankful
Regards

Your problem could be this:

Hello,
I read the hddscan article, really the hds are a very precise art machine.
You mean the pre-amp is dead. Is there no way?
thank you

In other designs, the MCU commands the motor controller/combo IC to switch the -3V supply on. If the MCU cannot then communicate with the preamp, it commands the motor controller to switch the -3V supply off. Perhaps this is what is happening in your case??? Alternatively, it could be that one of the heads fails its test and the MCU then aborts.

Hi
Understand, but next steep to check for head or preamp mean open the disk?
If so, how to check it...after that.
Thank you

Internal work (eg swapping the headstack) requires a clean cabinet plus experience. It's not something that a DIY-er would realistically contemplate.

Hi,
Do you know some video or manual that show how to exchange heads module step to step?
Now I don't have any data, no other way.
Then what about U5 specific disk parameters?
Thank you

hddsurgery.com has videos for their professional tools.

Scott Moulton has videos where he uses drinking straws.

This is a DIY clean cabinet:

Hi fzabkar
Let me to ask your opinion.
After exchange heads of Hitachi, need to make
a complete clone of it over other unit.
Not all software is designed to clone on raw level.
What's tool the software for this type of drive?
Thanks

If you're asking about a sector-by-sector clone, then ...

https://www.reddit.com/r/datarecoverysoftware/wiki/hddsuperclone_guide/

... or OpenSuperClone (a fork of the discontinued HddSuperClone project).

Yes, that's it.
Any configuration recommendations for this case?
Thank you

I would think you would start with the default settings and hope that the tool makes the appropriate decisions when it encounters a difficult situation. You can always stop at any time and tune your settings. The tool will then restart from where you stopped.
